Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to the MakrX Services provider portal, the connected MakrX Services API, and the integrations we operate on behalf of fabrication partners. When those surfaces integrate with other MakrX products (MakrX Store, MakrCave, Gateway) the respective policies for those surfaces also apply.

Data We Process

• Account & identity: name, email address, Keycloak identifier, and organisation membership.
• Operational data: job submissions, file metadata, capacity updates, payout details, and support correspondence.
• Telemetry: audit events, API usage, and security signals collected for fraud prevention and uptime monitoring.

How We Use Data

• Operate authentication, RBAC, and feature flag controls.
• Dispatch fabrication work, synchronise orders, and communicate job status.
• Provide analytics, billing, and compliance reporting for providers.
• Detect abuse, enforce contractual terms, and satisfy legal requests.

Your Controls

• Manage profile details and API credentials from the MakrX Services dashboard.
• Request data exports or deletion by contactingprivacy@makrx.org.
• Configure notification preferences per organisation.

Retention

Operational records are retained for the life of a provider relationship and for up to seven years after termination to satisfy tax, accounting, and contractual obligations. We purge inactive telemetry after twelve months unless it is linked to an active security investigation.
